Terms and Conditions

By buying this e-book you agree to the following agreement between you (the buyer) and the publisher:

General terms

Access to read the e-book is given for life, which in this case means minimum 30 years but probably much longer, or until the buyer is deceased. The e-book can not be inherited. It is a one time payment only. Credit card number, CVV code or card expiry date is not stored on this website. The buyer does not buy the copyright of the e-book, only the right to read the e-book. The buyer is not allowed to sell or transfer the e-book (meaning the right or opportunity to read the e-book) to anyone else. The buyer is not allowed to give away username or password to anyone else. The buyer must keep username and password secret and make sure (within reasonable limits) that nobody else finds them. Several people in the same household (like spouse, children) can read the same e-book if, and only if, they read it from the same computer (or tablet, phone or other device). If the e-book is read from two different devices at the same time, they will log each other out, because the system allows only one device to be logged in at a time. In such case, the buyer can simply log in again later. The buyer can read the e-book from different devices (not at the same time). It is the buyer's sole responsibility to create a strong password (a password not easy to guess) and keep the password secret, safe and secure. If the e-book is read from so many different devices that it is clear from the publisher's point of view that many people read the e-book (perhaps even from different countries), so that it is clear from the publisher's point of view that the password has been shared, stolen or compromised, the access to the e-book can be cancelled, meaning that the username is permanently blocked, and the buyer will not get any refund. A username can also be blocked (without any refund given) if the publisher reasonably believes that the service is being, or has been, misused in some other way. The buyer can change password (while being logged in), but not username.

The buyer is advised to keep a note on paper with username, password, book title and web address in a safe and secure place. If in the future the buyer changes e-mail address, the buyer is advised to log in and register the new e-mail address in case of forgotten username/password. If username/password is forgotten and the registered e-mail address is not longer in use, it may be impossible for the buyer to access the e-book, and the e-book might be considered lost, like if you had a book on paper you have forgotten on the train, so that you must buy a new book if you want to continue your reading.

The buyer can print out pages from the e-book on paper as long as it is for personal use only, but the buyer is not allowed to distribute, publish or copy the e-book, or parts of the e-book, not even for personal use. The buyer is not allowed to save the e-book, or parts of the e-book, on any computer, device or storage device, not even for personal use or backup. The e-book is meant to be read online. Naturally, it is acceptable to quote from the e-book and take notes. Copying small parts for personal use only is acceptable as long as it amounts to less than 10% of the e-book.

The e-book can be used as a textbook for students and pupils, and it can be used in auditoriums and classrooms, in universities, colleges and schools. In such case, each student should buy his/her own e-book just like they would buy their own textbooks in paper format. In the case of any use of the e-book, or the discoveries made by the author, in media like TV, radio, online videos, newspapers, magazines, etc. the book title, the author and the website presttun.com should be referred to in the traditional manner.

This website, including the e-book, is provided to the buyer on an "as is" basis. The buyer gets access to the e-book immediately after payment. After that, the buyer can not undo the purchase. The buyer has no right to a refund no matter what happens, but the publisher is obligated to do whatever possible (within reasonable limits) to keep the service running with as little downtime as possible. The publisher is also obligated to do his best, with honor and honesty, to ensure that the description of the e-book on this website (meaning all the web pages the buyer can read before buying) is correct and that the e-book fully lives up to what the description promises, and that the scientific discoveries mentioned in the description are well proven. The description is subject to the Marketing Control Act, which says that factual claims made in marketing must be proven. It must be taken into account though that there is no such thing as 100% secure evidence of theories in the science of physics and that all the science throughout the history of mankind is based on scientific theories, and that scientific theories are not necessarily the same as truth, and that what scientists tend to believe is true can change over time, and that some theories can be controversial even though good evidence is provided. Should the description contain minor errors, the publisher is obligated to do their best to correct them, but this will not affect any agreement already made. The publisher makes no warranties of any kind. The e-book is meant to be updated (improved) every now and then to make it easier for readers to understand the topics. The description may also be updated accordingly.

Privacy Notice

No private information (such as the buyer's name or e-mail address) is transferred to any third party (or sold, rented, traded, shared, revealed or disclosed) unless this is lawfully required by the authorities, e.g. in order for the police to investigate crime. Naturally, if you order a postal package from this website, your name and address will be on the package, visible to whoever takes care of the delivery of the package. The payment is a one-time payment only. The buyer's credit card number, CVV code or card expiry date is not stored on this server at all, and is not sent via this server either. It goes directly from the buyer's device to the usual banking system. This server then receives a receipt (without the credit card number, CVV code or card expiry date) saying that the buyer has paid. This website does not use any kind of tracking cookies or elements from other websites, like ads or images, which makes tracking possible. Naturally, if you make a payment, your details go to the banking system like PayPal or a credit card company to make the payment possible.

Minimum use of cookies

As per the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive, a website must ask its users' consent to use cookies that are not necessary for accessing the website's functionality. Only cookies that are strictly necessary in order for the website to work (such as enabling the buyer to log in) are used. No third-party cookies (tracking cookies) are used. No cookies of the kind that require the consent of the users are used on this website.
